Animal: Ranbir Kapoor’s crime-drama set to surpass BO collection of his biggest movie in just 10 days? all we know

New Delhi: Ever since its release on the big screens, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has become an unstoppable force at the box office.

In its first weekend itself, the movie scripted history by amassing Rs 266 crore (Domestic net) and 425 crore (worldwide) from the ticket windows.

As per the early estimates, the crime-drama is now set to collect anything between Rs 20-23 crore by the end of its fifth day (Tuesday) at the BO which will take its domestic collection to a colossal figure of about Rs 290 crore (India Net)

Meanwhile, as Shah Rukh’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Saalar: The Ceasefire are still more than a couple of weeks away from their release, Animal has a golden opportunity to mint handsome money in the coming days by smoothly running at the BO without facing competition from any major movie for the next 17 days.

This also means that the chances of the Sandeep-Reddy directorial becoming Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest flick by overtaking his film Sanju are almost certain.

For the unversed, Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, made it to the big screens in the year 2018 and became the biggest hit of Ranbir’s career by doing a business of Rs 342 crore (India net).

Now,  with Animal having a dream run at the BO, trade experts are predicting that the film is all set to outperform Sanju’s BO collection record in just a matter of 10-11 days.

While the success of his March release rom-com Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar gave the Barfi actor’s career much-needed momentum, Animal’s earth-shattering BO collection reminded everyone about the power of his stardom once again.
