Article 370 Movie Review: Yami Gautam is the shining star; narrates an emotionally charged, patriotic true story

Article 370 Movie Review: Patriotism abounds throughout the film, and viewers may find themselves overcome with emotion at certain parts of the film – Article 370.

New Delhi: On February 23, 2024, the much-anticipated theatrical debut of Article 370 provides audiences with an emotional patriotic experience. This film delves into the intriguing events behind the repeal of Article 370 and features Yami Gautam as the protagonist. A huge blockbuster is in the works for the first film starring Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam.

The film contemplates the time when Article 370 was revoked in India, drawing on real-life events. The abolition of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status serves as the setting for the film.

Story

Narrated on actual events, the plot begins in 2016 with the meeting of Burhan Wani, fueling further unrest in Kashmir. Subsequently, the Pulwama attack and other events led Zooni Haksar (played by Yami Gautam), Rajeshwari Swaminathan – the PMO secretary (played by Priyamani), and the government to challenge Article 370, which grants Kashmir a special status and a special provision. Article 370 grants the state the right to establish its own government, flag, and constitution. Article 370 was repealed so that the Indian government could take direct control of the area.

Review

Award-winning director Aditya Suhas Jambhale, did his utmost to evoke the ideal feelings of patriotism in his audience. Patriotism abounds throughout the film, and viewers may find themselves overcome with emotion at certain parts of the film – Article 370.

The high-octane action scenes and the political drama parts of the film are both well executed by Aditya.

The main characters in Article 370 are Yami Gautam and Priyamani. Playing the role of an intelligence officer was a breeze for Yami. Alternatively, the film’s second most significant character is Priyamani, who portrays a PMO official. Both Priyamani and her character were superb.

The film was a success not just because of the starring females, but also because of the supporting performers, including Arun Govil as Prime Minister, and Kiran Karmakar as Home Minister.

In terms of emotions, patriotism, and political drama, the film directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale is an all-around entertaining piece of work. Viewers will not have the slightest moment of boredom for the whole of the movie.
