Barbie OTT release India: Greta Gerwig’s musical comedy to arrive on digital platforms on this date

New Delhi: After  slamming the global box office for over a period of 7weeks, Greta Gerwig’s all-time blockbuster Barbie is all set to bring its colourful dream house to your digital screens this month.

The movie, which has already made history at the Box office by clocking a monument sum of $ 1,385,854,397 (₹11.5 thousand crores) during its box office, is not only the highest grosser of 2023 but is also on its way to become the 14th highest grosser of all time.

Now, the romantical drama is arriving on various global digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video and Apple where it will be available for watching from September 12th. However, the said platforms will be streaming the film exclusively in a number of selected countries and India is not one of them. in India.

To enjoy the musical comedy in India, one will have to either purchase or rent the movie from BMS Stream which will be making the blockbuster available from the same date (12 September). Barbie’s existential crisis

Helmed by talented director Greta Gerwig, Baribe tells the congenial tale of a stereotypical Barbie (Margot Robbie) who, after experiencing an existential cricises, steps out of the comfort zone of her colorful Barbieland and wander across the unforgiving real world in search of answers.

On her challanging Journey into the real world, she is accompanied by her devoted companion Ken (Ryan Gosling), who tries his best to outdo the patriarchy and helps barbies regain their power. Thanks to Ken and Barbies collective efforts, the duo gets humanised after their rapprochement and gender equality gets promoted and encouraged all over Barbieland.
