New Delhi: The freshly dropped trailer of much-anticipated Ayan Mukerji’s directorial ‘Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva’ is indeed a treat for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s fan base, though not all are too hyped up about the much expected plot of the film.
Further, despite having amazing work on VFX, Netizens are upset about the story idea which some even find lame.
Beyond all, the trailer of the supernatural drama became a chance for the social media users to share memes and jokes as they figure out some similarities between Brahmastra and a 90s cartoon show called ‘Captain Planet’.
The trailer was dropped by the makers on Wednesday morning and made it to the top trends on the microblogging site Twitter within hours.
While Ranbir Kapoor fans were praising the trailer and actor online, others began with a meme fest pointing out similarities between the superhero series and the upcoming Hindi film.

#BrahmastraTrailer reminded me of this classic gem. The elemental powers coming together to save earth (which in this show’s case is ofc America). But Captain Planet was love. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/QJlRH48jhZ

#Brahmastra trailer looks like a desi Eternals

#Brahmastra could very well be India’s Eternals! It comes LOADED with the pan India sentiment & has the ability to pull HUMONGOUS footfalls, owing to desifying the mythology. #RanbirKapoor is standing on the edge of creating history!#BrahmastraTrailer @DharmaMovies #AliaBhatt
