New Delhi: Ranveer Singh recently broke down in tears while attending an award show. He claimed that his sister and parents were the causes of his achievement. He also referred to them as “God” and said that everything he does is for their benefit. Ranveer remarked, “Mere ghar me Laxmi hai” (There is Goddess Laxmi in my home), while his eyes were filled with tears, and then he took his wife, Deepika Padukone, onto the platform and kissed her on the cheek.

Ranveer posted a video to his Instagram account with the caption “POV (point of view): you’re living a dream.” In the video, he can be seen giving a speech after accepting the Filmfare award for best actor for his role in the movie 83. I am in disbelief every day that I became an actor. It’s a miracle. Ranveer adds, “Everything that happens in my life is beyond my wildest idea. Most of the time, I can’t even believe that I am here, doing this, standing in front of you all.”

“I want to thank the audience for being a part of my journey and enabling me to live out my ambition,” the speaker says. “Sabse bada dhanyawad to main aapka karna chahunga.”

Because she witnessed Ranveer crying on stage, Deepika’s sister and golfer Anisha Padukone remarked on the video, “Who is cutting those darn onions?” She wasn’t the only one to remark on the video; Abhishek Bachchan also did so and added a heart emoji.

Ranveer most recently appeared in the box office dud Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He will now appear alongside Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani. He also has Cirkus, a comedic movie from Rohit Shetty.
