“Bhikhari film mafia”: Kangana Ranaut says “I can’t do cheap stuff and dance in weddings like them”

She discussed her attitude, claiming that the ‘bhikari film mafia’ misunderstood it for arrogance.

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood actress, is making news once again for her furious tweets. She recently uploaded a photo of her mother, Asha Ranaut, laboring on their farm and remarked about her mother’s humble attitude. The tweet went viral on social media, and netizens praised the actress’ mother for her candor. Kangana took potshots at Bollywood stars in response to one such tweet on Monday. She discussed her attitude, claiming that the ‘bhikari film mafia’ misunderstood it for arrogance.

In response to a tweet, the Queen actress wrote: “Please keep in mind that my mother is not wealthy owing me; I come from a line of politicians, bureaucrats, and business owners. Mom has served as a teacher for over 25 years, so the movie industry must comprehend where my mindset originates from and the reason I can’t do cheap stuff and dance in weddings like them.”

She explained why she does not really dance at marriages or try her hand at ‘item numbers’ in subsequent Twitter posts. “Bhikhari film mafia ne mere attitude to mera arrogance kaha,” Kangana wrote.

She also mentioned her upcoming movie Emergency, for which she collateralized her homes “Is this an attitude or an act of integrity? Me abhi apna sab girvi rakh ke ek film banayi hai, rakshashon ka safaya hoga heads would roll, no one should blame me.”
