Bigg Boss 17 promo: Salman Khan announces 3 exciting themes of upcoming reality show, fans say ‘Wait is over’ (Watch)

New Delhi: Just a month has passed since the conclusion of Bigg Boss OTT 2 and India’s most popular reality show is once again back to entertain the audience with its 17 season.

Following the massive success of its previous season on digital platform Jio Cinema, The 17th edition of the Salman-hosted show is all set to arrive on the television screens once again and lock up a new set of contestants inside the unforgiving house of Bigg Boss. Today, the makers have finally dropped its first promo and fans are already going gaga about the same.

Bigg Boss 17’s three exciting themes

The compelling promo, which features megastar Salman Khan, begins with the Dabangg actor walking in and informing the fans that they have only seen Bigg Boss’ eye in the past seasons, but in the show’s upcoming 17th edition, they will get to see three different avatars of Bigg Boss. The actor then proceeds to reveal all the avatars one by one.

While announcing the first avatar Dil (heart), Salman is seen dressed in an orange Kurta Pyjama as he walks into a pinkish room with heart-shaped leaves all around him. He then opens the next door and that’s exactly when his dress changes into greyish trousers paired with a black long coat and a Black hat with rounded glasses. He reveals the second avatar Dimag (Brain).

As he announces the final avatar of Bigg Boss Dum (Power), the 57-year-old actor is seen changing his looks once again as he opens the third and final door while sporting a bulletproof Jacket on a Black T-shirt. After revealing all three avatars, Salman ends the promo by saying “Abhi ke liye itna hi, promo hua khatam” (that much is enough for now, the promo has ended)  and leaves the fans confused on a cliffhanger.

Along with the intriguing promo, The makers also dropped a caption that read, “Iss baar Bigg Boss dikhaayenge ek alag rang, jisse dekhkar reh jaayenge aap sab dang.”

Fans react

Soon after the promo launch, fans buzzed with excitement and expressed their love for both Salman and Bigg Boss in the comments section. One fan wrote, “I can’t believe 😍 finally.” Another said, “Hame Salman ko dekhna hai bigboss nahi bhai ko dekhne ke liye dekhte hai.” A third user commented, “I am so excited after Big Boss ott2 waiting for Big Boss 17 coming soon.”

Although the recently dropped promo refused to unveil the launch date of Bigg Boss 17, it is expected that the show will commence around mid-October.

For the unversed, The second season of the OTT version of the Salman-hosted reality show was won by popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav who clinched the coveted title by defeating first Runner-up Abhishek Malhal in the grand finale. The show effortlessly soured the fame and fan following of both the YouTubers who are currently busy enjoying the success of their recently released music video which are garnering positive responses from the public.
