Bloody Daddy Twitter review: Netizens see Shahid as ‘soul of film’, Ronit Roy too gets applause

Besides all the feedbacks & reviews, fans agreed on one fact that Shahid was the soul of film and the saving grace of movie.

New Delhi: Bloody Daddy, the action-thriller movie starring Shahid Kapoor, Ronit Roy & couple of others in lead roles, released on OTT platforms this Friday. The movie made a splash on the internet much before its release and is now getting words of praise from the audience. The movie is streaming on Jio Cinema OTT for free.

Though, the reviews are mixed with people divided over the plot & role adaptations by actors, all seem to have been impressed with Shahid Kapoor’s first role as hardcore action star. The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivan Bhatena.

Bloody Daddy, as the name suggests, shows the world of drug mafia, their intricate networks & also give a peek into complicated relationships. The action thriller movie captures the complex equations of father & son. Shahid plays the eccentric father in film and often gets ‘uncontrollable’ when it comes to son’s life.

Bloody Daddy movie has been inspired by French film Sleepless Night (2011 and shows the story of a father who finds many odds against himself.

Many film buffs who watched the movie took to Twitter to share their first thoughts. Most of them effusively praised Shahid for doing justice to role while others found Ronit Roy & Rajeev Khandelwal for strong presence on screen.

However, many were left disappointed with the movie as they found the plot outdated & clichéd.

Earlier in a media interaction, Shahid Kapoor had also spoken about his excitement about being part of crime-thriller genre.

“The action sequences and the thrill of pushing physical boundaries appeal to my adventurous side,” he said.
