New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will miss attending Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding as the actor has tested positive for covid. The couple will tie the knot at the Jio World Center in Mumbai. The actor shared the information with his fans through social media. According to sources the ‘Sirfira’ actor was feeling unwell for the last 2 days and has been actively travelling and doing promotions for his film ‘Sirfira’. After feeling sick, he got his tests done and his reports came out in which he is tested positive for Covid.

Apart from Akshay some of his other team members have also tested positive for Covid. For now the actor has isolated himself and taking medication advised by the doctors. Akshay will also miss the last minute promotions of the film due to the illness.

However the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will take place today and the wedding will last for 3 days. The celebrities from the world of sports, business and entertainment have started arriving in the city. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, her husband Nick Jonas, American icon Kim kardashian with her sister Khloe Kardashian has also reached Mumbai.

Talking about Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’, the film is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film stars Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal.
