
New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is creating records in terms of box office collection from day 1 of its theatrical release. The film earned Rs 45 crores on the third day and was able to garner a whopping Rs 125 crore in India in the first weekend.
Accordingly, Brahmastra has become the highest-grossing film on the first weekend in the last 6 years, and has further collected Rs 225 crore at the global box office.
Sharing crucial figures regarding Brahmastra’s Hindi version, film analyst Taran Adarsh wrote in a tweet, “Brahmastra has a fabulous weekend. Nett box office. Day 1: ₹ 31.5 cr+ Day 2: ₹ 37.5 cr+ Day 3: ₹ 39.5 cr+.” In his tweet, Taran Adarsh also shared the collection of the regional version of the film and added, “Final total could be higher… India biz. National chains superb…Day 1: ₹ 17.15 cr est. Day 2: ₹ 20.73 cr est. Day 3: ₹ 21.63 cr est”.

Brahmastra’s overseas business:
Ayan Mukerji directorial is earning well in India as well as abroad. The film earned 75 crores on the first day at the global box office, and a collection of Rs 85 crore, adding 10 crores in the second day’s earnings. On the third day, it collected Rs 65 crores with a slight drop.
Meanwhile, made with a huge budget of Rs 400 crore, the movie has to go a long way in order to be a financial success.
