New Delhi: After a terrific success at the global box office, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra has finally locked a streaming date for the forthcoming month of November. Many who have been able to witness the mythological drama on the big screens were eagerly waiting for the makers to announce its digital release. Viewers will now be able to relish the blockbuster hit in the comfort and cosiness of their homes.
Director Ayan Mukerji dropped the news, unveiling the streaming platform and date via his social media handles on Sunday. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva will make its OTT debut on Disney+ Hotstar on November 4.
About the film
The movie made its initial release in theatres on September 9 starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in significant roles. Further, the film included a cameo appearance of Shah Rukh Khan, which the makers had kept hidden until it hit the big screens.
Owing to the fascination drama’s enormous popularity, the movie leaked online a few days after its release. However now, the movie is officially set to grace the digital space and is expected to become one of the top OTT releases of this year.
