New Delhi: The two mega budget films of Tollywood are all set to clash at the box office. These highly anticipated films are Dhanush’s ‘Raayan’ and Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan’.

The story of the film ‘Thangalaan’ is based on true events. The film revolves around the lives of the mine workers in the Kolar Gold fields of Karnataka. The film is helmed by Pa Ranjith and the star cast includes Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu.

The film has actor Dhanush in the lead role and is all set to release in June. The star cast includes S J Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, Dushara Vijayan and Aparna Balamurali. The film is written and directed by Dhanush himself. Dhanush is seen in a whole New Avatar in the poster of the film.
