New Delhi: Chandramukhi 2, which will soon be released in theatres is directed by P Vasu and stars Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the key roles.
The film is all set to make a theatrical premiere on September 28, 2023. The Tamil horror-comedy film Chandramukhi was followed up by Chandramukhi 2, which is the sequel to the original.

Previously, the film was set to release on September 19, but according to some social media notes, due to the strong opening of SRK’s Jawan, the film postponed the date to September 28.
Chandramukhi 2 will be released in many different languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Lyca Productions and Subaskaran are responsible for making this movie.

The film’s trailer has already been made available to the public. The trailer for Chandramukhi 2 opens with a family moving into a mansion and being told to stay away from the south block since that is where Chandramukhi lives. Raghava Lawrence plays King Vettaiyan Raja, while Kangana plays Chandramukhi, a dancer in his court who is renowned for her beauty and ability.

Plot
When a rich family with a long list of difficulties gathers their long-lost ancestors to worship their god, they have no idea that they would be reawakening a centuries-old conflict between a famous classical dancer named Chandramukhi and a king named Vettaiyan Raja.
Chandramukhi, after being slain by her jealous husband was imprisoned in the palace, and Vettaiyan Raja, the prince cursed to haunt the palace grounds as a ghost. One of the family members becomes possessed by Chandramukhi’s ghost as the ceremony proceeds, putting in motion a chain of events that threatens to tear the family apart.
