New Delhi: ‘Cirkus’ is another Bollywood film with a story of identical twins. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. The film also features usual faces from Rohit Shetty comedy franchises, namely, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Murali Sharma, Vrajesh Hirjee and others.
The film revolves around two sets of identical twins who get separated at birth. The plot moves on and years later, they happen to be in the same town, with people mistaking them for each other. ‘Cirkus’ also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in cameos as Meenamma from ‘Chennai Express’ and Gopal from ‘Golmaal’ franchise respectively. Devi Sri Prasad, Badshah and Lijo George-DJ Chetas have composed the music in the film and the song ‘Current Laga Re’ has made a lot of buzz.
The film was released in cinemas on December 23 and audience and critics have started to post their reviews on the internet. The film is not much liked by the netizens and is visible in their reviews.

The film has attracted some audience but such reviews show that the word of mouth would not be as good for the makers. Rohit Shetty has given super-hit comedies, but his go-to actors and previous characters also could not save the poor writing and direction.
