
New Delhi: Suhani Bhatnagar who played the role of Babita Phogat in the Aamir Khan starrer film ‘Dangal’ has passed away at the age of 19. According to sources, the young actress accidentally fractured her leg and was undergoing treatment for that. She developed some side effects due to the medication which aggravated further leading to her tragic demise. She was also undergoing treatment in AIIMS Delhi for a brief period of time. Her last rites will be held at Ajronda Crematorium in Faridabad.

The 19 year old actress received a lot of praise for her role in the film ‘Dangal’. She has also worked in many commercial advertisements in television. After doing the film she decided to shift focus to her education. However it looks like Suhani was not very active in Instagram. Her last post can be seen in 2021.

The film revolves around the story of a wrestler who wants to win a gold medal for his country and decides to train his daughters. He manages to give the best training to his daughters despite challenges and social stigmas. The film was a huge hit at the box office. The film was produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.
