Deepika Padukone confirms Pregnancy rumours, baby to arrive in September this year

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally confirm Deepika’s pregnancy rumours, the actress shared in her Instagram about her pregnancy update, and mentioned the baby will arrive in September 2024. The couple shared an E-card featuring balloons, candies, lollypops, baby clothes, baby shoes etc.

However speculations have been doing the rounds in Social media when the actress made an appearance in the Bafta awards in a saree designed by Sabyaachi Mukherjee trying to cover her belly. She was one of the presenters of the event. Deepika and Ranveer had earlier mentioned in an interview about having children, “In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children.”

According to reports, Deepika is currently in her second trimester. Deepika and Ranveer got married in 2018. The duo met on the sets of Sanjay Bhansali’s  film ‘Ramleela’ and they dated for  5 years before getting married. They have also worked in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmavat’.

Deepika was last seen in the film ‘Fighter’ opposite Hrithik Roshan. The film did well at the box office, she will be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ opposite South Super star Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from doing films, Deepika is also seen promoting her skin care brand 82.e

Ranveer Singh will be seen in upcoming film ‘Don-3’ opposite Kiara Advani. Deepika and Ranveer are also one of the invitees of the Pre-Wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant which is scheduled to kick off from 1st March, 2024 in Jamnagar.
