New Delhi: There is nothing more bittersweet than seeing your daughter becoming a bride. ‘Gopi Bahu’ aka Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s mother went through some intense emotions as Devoleena tied the knot with her long-term bae Shanwwaz Shaikh.
Devoleena shared a video on Insta where she is sitting beside her mother. Devoleena flaunts her beautiful Mehndi but her mom breaks into tears. The tear-jerking video is being shared widely on social media.

In her Mehendi ceremony, Devoleena looked gorgeous in a dark mauve lehenga studded with sequins. Her mother matched her in a beautiful suit of a similar shade. On the same note, ‘Gopi Bahu’s Mehendi, which was done with the utmost delicacy, featured a bride with an enormous lehenga.
As Devoleena’s mother overflowed with emotions, the actress also teared up and embraced her mother.
Devoleena married her long-term boyfriend in a hush-hush affair in Lonavala. Shanwaaz Shaikh is a gym trainer by profession. He has been in a relationship with Devoleena for 3 years. Shaikh is a fitness trainer to Devo along with many other celebs.
Devoleena wore a heavenly red saree and completed her look with a ” Sada Saubhagyavati” over-the-head dupatta.
The former Big Boss contestant also shared a video from her post-marriage ritual ceremony. New bride Devoleena can be seen competing with her husband Shanwaz Shaikh for the ring. As the duo grappled under the milk to find the ring, Devoleena emerged as the winner and showed off the ring with pride.
