‘Dhak Dhak girl’ Madhuri Dixit still shine like an Old wine with her talent and versatility

The actress ruled the Indian Cinema for over a decade and worked with all the talented actors of Bollywood.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is one of the few actresses who ruled the Indian cinema with her incredible acting skills and dance moves. There was a time in Bollywood when she was the most watched and highest paid actresses of the film industry. However there was a time when the actress was not able to deliver even a single hit film and she was struggling to establish her mark in the Indian cinema. Madhuri made her acting debut with the film ‘Abodh’ in 1984 but the film didn’t do well at the box office.

Madhuri aspired to become a Microbiologist when she was in school. However she actively participated in dramatics and extra curricular activities when she was in school. After studying the subject for over 6 months, she dropped it and pursued a full time career in films. The dancing Diva developed interest in dancing when she was 3 years old and decided to learn Kathak.

Madhuri rose to fame with the film ‘Saajan’ opposite Salman Khan and the film was a hit at the box office. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and the story of the film revolves around a love triangle. However some of her films like ‘Mahasangram’, ‘Deevana Mujhsa Nahin’, ‘Jeevan ek Sangarsh’, ‘Sailaab’, ‘Jamaai Raja’ didn’t do that well at the box office.

Madhuri got married to Dr Shriram Nene and the couple is blessed with two sons. She is also engaged in many philanthropic activities like she is a part of UNICEF since 2014 which works for the upliftment of the poor children and is also the Co-Founder of the Production Company RnM Moving pictures.
