New Delhi: Ahead of the rumours of actor Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding this year in December, the duo reportedly had an intimate roka ceremony, on the occassion of Diwali. The ceremony was held at the residence of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ director Kabir Khan, who is also a close friend to Kaif.
Katrina Kaif’s mother, Suzanne Turquoette, her sister, Isabelle Kaif, as well as Vicky Kaushal’s parents, Sham and Veena Kaushal, and brother Sunny Kaushal were also present at the ceremony.

A friend close to the couple told India Today, “It was a beautiful roka. There were lights and decorations and Katrina looked stunning in her lehenga. Since the Diwali dates were an auspicious muhurat, the families decided to go ahead with the ceremony. Kabir and Mini are almost like family to Katrina and they were the most gracious hosts.”
As per the reports, the couple will tie knot in a closed ceremony in December this year at Rajasthan. Though neither Katrina nor Vicky have confirmed the news reports yet.

A close friend revealed to India Today, “They are playing it very casual and keeping it hush-hush. Katrina just smiles or acts like she doesn’t know what you are talking about when asked about the wedding. No date has been given by either of them yet. There is no information on the venue either. It won’t come as a surprise if they decide to ditch the venue last minute and choose another place. The details of the venue leaking in the media have definitely caused them concern.”
“Everyone will know whenever Vicky or Katrina decide to make the announcement from their end. As of now, neither of them have picked up the phone and made any calls to any of their industry friends to reveal the wedding dates”, he further added.
