New Delhi: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2 is slowly inching towards the Rs 50 crore club at the domestic box office. As per the trade Analyst Sacnilk.com, the film minted over 4 crore this Monday. Dream Girl2 was released last week on Friday, helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, and produced by Ekta Kapoor.

According to Sachnilk.com, the film opened at the box office with an earning of Rs 10.69 crore and subsequently earned Rs 14.02 crore on its second day. On Sunday, the film minted Rs 16 crore and earned Rs 4.70 crore net in India on its fourth day, as per early estimates. So far the film minted a net of 45.41 crore in India.
Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, Dream Girl 2 features Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pawa, Manjot Singh, and Asrani. A special screening was also held before the release of the film and many celebrities attended the screening. Ayushmann Khurrana, on Monday night, surprised his fans by unveiling the unplugged version of the song Mai Marjawangi from Dream Girl 2. Sharing the link on his social media handle, Ayushmann wrote,’ Aap sab ki Farmaaish ho aur main a gaau toh, Mai Marjawanga! The song is out now.

After the film minted Rs 4o crore, Ayushmann remembered his late father, P Khurrana, sharing how he motivated him to become a good actor. He quoted he wish his father was here to watch this. Dream Girl was his favourite film. He must be very proud how i attempted something so different. He would definitely like Dream Girl 2 as well.
