New Delhi: With less than a week to go for the much-awaited release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’, John Abraham, who plays a major role in the film opened up about his co-stars and the experience of playing an antagonist in the film. In a video clip shared by Yash Raj Films, the actor also revealed a bit about his character Jim.
Talking about his character, John Abraham said that Jim is ‘cool and dangerous’ and the role took him back to ‘Dhoom’. He added that he did not know that Jim will have a bare-body shot, but when Siddharth Anand, who is the director of the film, told him about the shot, he did not have to go through a transformation due to his fitness and lifestyle.

The actor talked about SRK’s return to the big screen after four years and said that not only India, but the whole world, including him, want to see Shah Rukh on the big screen. About co-star Deepika Padukone, he said that she is ‘lovely and gorgeous’, also he loves her family. He added that seeing Deepika successful makes him happy and she is a ‘sweetheart’.
On working with producer Aditya Chopra and director Siddharth Anand, the actor said that he trusts Aditya and he is his go-to person when he looks for advice. He added that he wants to work more with Siddharth and is ‘in love with the director he is’.
‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh, Deepika, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana, will release in theatres on January 25.
