New Delhi: Bollywood actor Hema Malini and Dharmendra's daughter Esha Deol have finally revealed in a joint statement that the couple has parted ways. Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani tied the knot in 2012. The couple was dating for a few years and then decided to get married. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai. Isha Deol's husband Bharat Takhtani is a businessman and Esha Deol made her career in Bollywood like her mother Hema Malini. The couple issued a joint statement which read, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected." They met during the competition which was hosted by her school. She added that she herself had shared her number with him and Bharat found her really cute even though she had braces. Both of them moved to pursue their careers and met again after a span of 10 years. Esha was working in Bollywood films at that time. They again started talking and came close.
