New Delhi: Sunny Doel’s latest movie Gadar 2 is enjoying a dream run in the theatres across the country.

In its 10-day-long theatrical run, the movie has achieved a glorious financial feat by minting a whopping sum of Rs 376.20 crore at the box office.

Be it for the movie’s nostalgic element, or the massy action-packed scenes it offers, Tara Singh’s much-awaited return on the box screen is winning over the fans and discussions about Sunny Doel’s raw body and film’s electrifying dialogues have become the talk of the town.

Amidst this, the movie’s producers have also dropped a hint about the blockbuster’s eagerly awaited OTT premiere.

Gadar 2’s OTT release

To the disappointment of OTTians, the news is that all those planning to enjoy Tara Singh’s actions from the comfort of their homes will have to be patient and wait a little longer as Gadar 2 is not premiering on any OTT platform in the near future.

Considering the movie’s ongoing box office Tsunami, its makers have decided to keep it exclusive to cinemas and hence you won’t be finding Anil Sharma’s directorial on any OTT or satellite platform anytime soon.

Speaking on the same, the  Ameesha Patel starrer’s producer Shariq Patel stated that the movie’s team is yet to finalize its OTT release date. He further told that fans will have to wait for at least 2 months to see the super hit sequel on OTT.

However, it is expected that Gadar 2 will get available on the OTT platform Zee5 around Diwali 2023.

On its second Saturday too, the movie showed no sign of stopping and did an impressive business of Rs 31 crores at the BO.
