Golden Globe Awards 2024: Oppenheimer Wins big, Lily Gladstone Wins Best Actress; Succession Best Drama Series

Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr won Best Supporting Male Actor – Motion Picture at the Golden Globes for his performance in the director Christopher Nolan’s biopic film ‘Oppenheimer’.

California:  It was Hollywood’s biggest award night that everyone was waiting for. The Golden Globes were awarded to the most popular and loved film, and the talent behind the camera. The awards were handed over to the best actors and actresses of Hollywood. Oppenheimer is one of the big winners at the Golden Globe Awards, which took place in Los Angeles.

Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr were both recognised for their acting performances, while Christopher Nolan won best director.

Murphy portrayed J Robert Oppenheimer, described as the father of the atomic bomb, in the film which grossed $954m (£750m) at the box office.
