New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures announced the release date for Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming film ‘GoodBye’. The film is set to hit the cinemas on October 7 this year. The movie is helmed by ‘Queen’ and ‘Super 30’ director Vikas Bahl.
The film deals with a heart-warming story about life, family and relationships and will leave the audiences laughing, contemplating and emotional. ‘GoodBye’ will star Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Elli AvrRam, Sunil Grover and Sahil Mehta in pivotal roles, along with Mr Bachchan. ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ star Rashmika Mandanna will be making her Bollywood debut with this film.
Tamil star shared her experience of shooting ‘GoodBye’ along with Amitabh Bachchan on a podcast. She told that it was an amazing experience shooting with Mr Bachchan. The actor added that shooting with someone for a long time helps in the bonding, and it is that bond that helps in giving ‘fun’ performances. She said that she was grateful for it.

The film went on floors last year. Announcing the beginning of the shoot, Ekta Kapoor wrote on Instagram, “..this is how it’s ( hopefully) going????????! Finally working with the ONLY actor Iv been waiting to work with … who I spent my childhood obsessing over @amitabhbachchan ????????????????????????! Wat an honour sir / uncle ! Welcoming new beginnings with #Goodbye.”

The film is produced by Vikas Bahl, Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Viraj Sawant, and Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh. The production companies involved in the project are Balaji Motion Pictures, Good Co and Reliance Entertainment.
