Here are some timeless songs to celebrate the famous singer Asha Bhosle’s birthday

New Delhi: With her voice, aura, and music, the great singer Asha Bhosle has stayed timeless. She has lent her sparkling vocals to an unmatched range of songs. She turns eight today, September 8. Asha Bhosle, the younger sibling of the late Lata Mangeskar, is renowned for her wide range of musical preferences.

Asha Bhosle began her singing career in 1943, and she has already lived for nearly seven decades. To date, she has produced close to 11,000 songs in 20 different languages. Asha Bhosle has given us music for every event, from hymns to hip-hop, for every party or celebration.

On her 89th birthday, here is a collection of the great singer’s classic songs:

1. Tanha Tanha:

Rangeela, starring Urmila Matondkar and Aamir Khan, included “Tanha Tanha,” a song by Asha Bhosle.

2. Hungama Ho Gaya:


The song is the ideal blend of vigour and sass.

3. Abhi Na Jao Chodkar:

Dev Anand and Sadhana star in the 1961 film Hum Dono, which also includes a lovely duet with Mohammed Rafi.

4. Dum Maro Dum:


This song from the Bollywood movie Hare Rama Hare Krishna from 1971 is still popular today. Despite being remade numerous times, the original is still incredibly well-known.

5. Yeh Mera Dil:


In 1977, Yeh Mera Dil, a song by Asha Bhosle picturized on the seductive Helen for the 1977 film Don, was released.

6. Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja:


RD Burman created the music for this song, which was written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. It was transformed into a cracker for the film Caravan by Asha Bhosle.

7. Dil Cheez Kya Hai:


This song from the film Umrao Jaan earned Asha Bhosle the National Award.

8. Chura Liya Hai Tumne:
