Here’s how Varun Dhawan convince Kartik Aryan to share stage with Karan Johar [WATCH]

Apart from Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aryan, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Ayushmaan Khurrana, and Maniesh Paul can be spotted in the video

New Delhi: The repercussion between actor Kartik Aryan and filmmaker Karan Johar is an open secret. And the fallout began when Johar’s Dharma Productions released an official notification about the recast of its yet-to-be-filmed movie in which Kartik and Janhavi Kapoor were supposed to be in lead roles.

Neither the production house nor Aryan disclosed the reason or any other details about the matter, though both have maintained a distance from one another. In fact, Kartik was not even invited to Karan Johar’s recent 50th birthday bash, wherein half the industry marked its presence.

However, for the first time after the recast incident, the actor and filmmaker shared the stage in public, courtesy Varun Dhawan!

In a now-viral video posted by news daily Pinkvilla on Instagram, Varun makes Kartik groove with the other actors at the stage of an award function. “Kartik, come, you can dance to a Dharma film song”, he can be heard telling Kartik.

Apart from Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aryan, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Ayushmaan Khurrana, and Maniesh Paul can be spotted in the video. Soon Johar can be seen joining the stage too on the Hindi track ‘The Punjaabban’. However, Aryan was seen refraining from dancing.

Previously, Kartik had vaguely opened up about his relations with Johar and Dharma Productions where he had said, “I just focus on my work. That’s all I would like to say on this. Look at my (film) line-up (right now)”.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik is currently relishing the success of his recently released horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Aryan will now be seen in Rohit Dhawan’s upcoming Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon. Captain India, Freddy, and Sajid Nadiadwala’s untitled also happens to be in his kitty.
