Made under the expert direction of Abbas Mastan, Baazigar was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies of its time and is still talked about to this day.

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan is busy writing history at the Box office with his latest actioner Jawan.

In just two days of its release, the movie has not only asserted its dominance on the big screens but also created history by shattering numerous records to become the biggest opening Bollywood movie of all time.

Admits Nation celebrating Jawan’s fest, veteran actor Dalip Tahil, who starred alongside Shah Rukh in his 1993 classic blockbuster Baazigar, recently opened up about his weird experience with one SRK fan who made him realise how deeply a film can impact the public mind.

Why Dalip beat Shah Rukh Khan?

Recalling the incident that unfolded in London’s Heathrow airport, Dalip, while speaking with Untriggred with Aminijaz told how he was approached by a Shah Rukh’s devoted British-asian female fan who questioned him why he beat the Pathan actor so mercilessly in Bazigar.

In the podcast, the actor described the girl as someone who was completely infatuated with King Khan and even revealed that the way she talked to him made him feel terrible. However, despite feeling terrible, Tahil did respond to Shah Rukh’s die-hard fan’s question and said, ” “Because he (Shah Rukh) hit me as well.”

On hearing Dilip’s answer, the girl’s tone changed and she said, “It doesn’t matter if he hit you, you were the bad guy. But why would you hit him like that?”

Later, Dalip admitted that the whole encounter with Shah Rukh’s crazy fan not only made him feel pathetic but also made him realise how much the vulnerable sections of society get attached to a movie’s character.
