New Delhi: A few days back, renowned Punjabi actress & Bigg Boss 13 fame Himanshi Khurana broke the hearts of millions of her fans by announcing the shocking news of her separation from long-term boyfriend Asim Riaz.
Taking to her Twitter (now X) Handle, Himanshi wrote that she and Asim have mutually decided to end their relationship while citing the reason of their hailing from different religious backgrounds.
She wrote “We are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives.”
“With due respect to our respective religions, we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy” the actress’ post read further.
Himanshi’s post soon went viral and started drawing mixed reactions from the fans. While some were left in complete disbelief on hearing the news of Asim and Himanshi’s break-up over something like religious differences, others offered their support to the actress while claiming that she made the right decision.
Amidst this, Datebaazi actor Faizan Ansari has now made some absurd comments about Asim Riaz in interaction with paparazzi and the same is now going viral on the internet.
‘Himanshi ko mangal sutra pehnana padega’
Speaking about the BB 13 runner-up’s recent breakup with ex-girlfriend Himanshi, Faizan came down heavy on Asim Riaz and bashed him for being a problematic person and making a mockery of religion.
He said, “Asim ke fake Insan hai jitne logo se Juda hai wo un sab ko problem hui hai bigg Boss ko hi dekh lo Shehnaz Gill ko Dekh Lo aur ab Himahsi ke peeche pad gaya hai. (Asim is a fake person and always keeps creating problems for anyone who gets associated with him. he created problems for Bigg Boss, Shehnaz Gill and now he is after Himasnhi Khurana)
The actor then went on pulling out a Mangal sutra from his pocket and continued,”Mai ye Mangalsutra leke aaya hu Asim ko mai sabke samne bol raha hu ye Asim ko Himahsi Khurana Ko pehnana Padega” (I have brought this mangala sutra and Asim will have to make Himasnhi wear it)
Later in the convention, Faizan claimed that Asim had betrayed Himanshi by leaving her like this and he knows how much devastated the actress is because of him. It is important to note here that neither Himanshi nor Asim have reacted to Fizan’s daunting claims as of now.

Meanwhile, after getting mercilessly grilled by the fans for using religion as an excuse for breaking up, the actress, in response to her trolls, issued a clarification on her Twitter (X) in which she mentioned that she is a secular person and respects all faiths.
In the same clarification, Himanshi also revealed that Asim himself advised her to mention religion as the reason for their separation in her breakup post and backed it with a screenshot in which the26-year-old Rapper was indeed seen telling her to mention the actual reason (religion) behind their breakup.
