New Delhi: Actress Hina Khan has tested negative for coronavirus after getting infected a couple of weeks ago. She conducted a live Instagram session to share this good news with her fans and she also said that she is ‘on the road to recovery.’ Hina admitted that she did not all the precautions will travelling back to Mumbai after her father’s funeral.
She said during the live session, “I am fine, but I think, while returning from Srinagar, I did not really take any precautions. I was not in a state of mind, which is why whatever happened, happened. But thank god, my family tested negative. I know I did not take precautions while coming back and it resulted in me testing positive. But that is okay, I am pretty okay now, I have tested negative.”
Hina also shared that even after testing negative, she suffers from weakness along with some cough and heaviness in her chest. She further said, ”Sometimes, I feel like I am about to faint.”

During the 10-min long live session, Hina also talked about her late father and said, “I am very strong, I am my daddy’s strong girl. I am wearing his T-shirt. He is there, everywhere.”
Even after a few days of testing positive, Hina shared another post in which she caller herself ‘a helpless daughter.” She wrote, “ Helpless Daughter, Who can’t even be with her mother to comfort her, when she needs her the most.. Dear people times are tough very tough for not just us, but everyone around.. But thrs a saying, Tough times don’t last, Tough people do..? And I am, was and will always be my Daddy’s Strong Girl.. Send in your prayers plz Let thr be light.. Dua.”

Hina tested positive for COVID-19 on April 26 when she shared a statement on the social media that read, “In these extremely difficult and challenging times for me and my family, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following the guidance of my doctors, I have home quarantined myself and taking all necessary precautions. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. All I need is your prayers. Be safe and take care.”
