New Delhi: Bollywood’s Greek god Hrithik Roshan gave an unexpected treat to his fans by making a surprise appearance on the Mumbai Metro rail on Friday.
The veteran actor, who is well known for staying active on his social media profiles, saved himself from Mumbai’s soaring heat and traffic jams in style by opting for an unconventional as well as environment-friendly mode of commute.
While Hrithik’s unexpected metro rain journey helped the actor beat Mumbai’s traffic and reach his destination on time, it also gave the passengers of the train a golden chance to interact and click some quick selfies with him.
Later, the Bang Bang actor also shared a number of pictures that he took with the lucky commuters of the train on his Instagram handle. The same pictures are now going viral on the internet.

In the viral photographs, Hrithik can be seen inside the metro train taking selfies with his fans across all age groups. Along with the pictures, the actor also dropped a video of himself standing in the corner of the train’s coach just like a regular passenger observing his surroundings.
The caption of his post read, “Took the metro to work today. Met some really sweet and kind folks. Sharing with you the love they gave me. The experience was spectacular. Beat the heat + the traffic. Saved my back for the action shoot I’m going for.”

Soon after the actor shared the sweet post, netizens flooded his comment section and started giving their reaction to the same. Commenting on the picture, one user wrote “Aapko ladies seat mein baithne dia hum hote to phenk diye jaate”. Another fan said, “Nice to see you in public transport! Remember one thing, unko samajhna hai naki unki tarah bannah… cause you are The Hrithik Roshan.”

Besides Hrithik’s fans, a number of Bollywood celebs including his girlfriend Saba Azad also gave their reactions to the actor’s metro train journey. While Saba Azad dropped a heart along with smile emojis, skilled moviemaker Homi Adajania said, “Love it, Hrithik Roshan… This is what it is about.”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Hrithik made his last on-screen appearance in Pushkar-Gayathari’s 2022 neo-noir thriller Vikram Vedha which is currently streaming on leading OTT platform Jio Cinema. In the film, inspired by Indian folklore Baital Pahcisi or Vikram Betal, Hrithik plays the character of a gangster (Vedha) who willingly surrenders to a cop Vedha (Saif Ali Khan) and narrates a disturbing story to him. Besides Hrithik and Saif, the OTT film also featured a number of talented actors including Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, and Yogita Bihani in Pivotal Roles.
Hrithik is now gearing up for the release of his eagerly anticipated upcoming movie Fighter which will make it to the big screen a day prior to Republic Day 2024 on 25 January under the banner of Viacom 18 Studios. The movie, directed by ace director Siddarth Anand also marks Bollywood’s first ever arial actioner flick. In its star-ensembled cast, Fighter boasts a number of ace actors including Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor.
