‘I have broken no rules set by the temple, says Kamya Jani on controversy on Jagganath temple visit row

New Delhi: Curly Tales Founder Kamya Jani responded to the allegations made against her that the content creator went to the Jagannath temple with BJD leader. The Bhartiya Janata Party shared a grab of the Curly Tales Founder allegedly having beef and posing it with her image of eating the ‘Mahaprasadam’. Soon after the content creator posted the video, she received flak from many politicians including Giriraj Singh and Dharmendra Pradhan.

Kamya Jani clarifies

I have broken no rules set by the temple. I am a practicing Hindu who has neither ever consumed beef nor promoted it. She posted the clarification along with a video. She adds that  “As a food vlogger, I certainly inform people about the various cuisines from across regions,”

She also clarified that screengrab of her eating beef in kerala was actually a video shot in Kerala where she visited a restaurant which was started by two truck drivers and its famous for its beef dishes. She goes on to say that since she is a practising hindu and doesn’t eat beef, she ate black chana curry with rice appam and banana fritters.
