New Delhi: Actress Payal Rohatgi was arrested by Ahmedabad police today. The actress reportedly had a confrontation with the chairman of the society where she bought a flat. Reports suggest that she allegedly send some abusive and obscene messages to the chairman on social media.
Reports suggest that she also threatened society members to falsely implicate people in false cases.

Rohatgi’s troubled past with the law
This is not the first time that the actor got mired into controversy. In 2019, Rajasthan police registered a case against her for making objectionable remarks in a video.
She was arrested and sent to jail for 8 days. Rajasthan police had case against her for allegedly posting objectionable content on social media sites against Nehru-Gandhi family.
Charmesh Sharma, general secretary of the Rajasthan Youth Congress, had filed a police complaint against Rohatgi at the Sadar police station in Bundi.
