New Delhi: Grand Finale of Indian Idol 12 was held on Independence Day with Pawandeep Rajan lifting the winner’s trophy.
Winner Pawandeep Rajan was awarded Rs 25 lakh as prize money and a car. Arunita Kanjilal and Sayali Kamble emerged runner-ups.
The Indian Idol 12 finalists were Pawandeep Rajan, Mohd Danish, Nihal Tauro, Shanmukhapriya, Sayali Kamble and Arunita Kanjilal.

Also, Singer Vishal Dadlani was back on the stage of Indian Idol 12 for the first time after May.
He also shared the stage with the six finalists. Vishal also hailed the Olympic medal winners from the stage ad performed with the top 6 contestants.
Khali, who was also present at the grand finale said that Pawandeep and he were neighbours in their hometown and praised his efforts.

Aditya Narayan and Udit Narayan also performed together on the stage of Indian Idol 12.
Winner, Pawandeep Rajan said that he is missing ‘pahadi’ khaana as he has been away from his home for over 10 months.
