Television actress Sangeeta Srivastava who has been a part of many popular television shows like Thapki Pyaar Ki, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Bhanwar among others has passed away.
She passed away on August 25 morning in Mumbai. She was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. As per the report in Telly Chakar, Sangeeta Srivastava was suffering from an auto-immune disease known as vasculitis.
Sangeeta Srivastava who won hearts with her performance in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon which starred Barun Sobti as Arnav Singh Raizada and Sanaya Irani as Khushi Kumaari Gupta in the lead.
Sameer Sharma commits suicide
Earlier this month, another actor from the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Sameer Sharma, had died by suicide. He was found hanging at his apartment in Malad West. ANI tweeted, “TV actor & model Sameer Sharma was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling at his residence in Malad West last night. Accidental Death Report registered, body sent for autopsy. Looking at the body’s condition, it’s suspected that he died by suicide two days back: Malad Police. #Mumbai”
“A case of accidental death has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy,” said senior inspector George Fernandez, Malad police station in a report by Mid-Day. No suicide note has been found in the house.
This comes as a huge shock, as the industry is still reeling under the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
