New Delhi: After months of speculation, its official now. Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and her politician fiancé Raghav Chadha are set to have a ‘destination wedding’ in Rajasthan’s Udaipur .
In first official confirmation of their upcoming marriage later this month, Raghav and Parineeti will tie the knot at the iconic Leela Palace and Taj Lake on September 23 & 24.
The wedding card of the couple shows that the wedding festivities will begin from September 23 and culminate the next day.
The power couple, who got engaged in Delhi’s Kapurthala House on May 13 this year, will exchange their wedding vows in presence of close friends & family.
According to reports, arrangements have been made to accommodate more than 200 guests which will include about 40-50 VVIP guests.
As per the invitation card, the first day of wedding will have slew of celebrations including Welcome Lunch, Lets Party like 90’s. Pari’s Choora ceremony will take place at Maharaja suit.
Raghav-Parineeti wedding festivities:
On September 24, the day-time wedding will take place where the duo will tie the knot with Hindu customs & rituals.
Theme – Raghav’s Sehrabandi. Threads of Blessings. Location – Taj Lake Palace. Time 1 PM.
Baraat – The Royal Procession. From Taj Lake. Time – 2 PM.
Divine Promises – A Pearl White Indian Wedding. Location – Leela Palace.
Jaimala – 3.30 PM
Pheras – 4 PM
Vidai – 6.30 PM
Theme – A night of Amore. The reception gala. Location – Leela Palace Courtyard. Time – 8.30.
Arrangements & preparations are in final stages at both the hotels for the upcoming grand wedding ceremony. The hotel adminsitation has pulled out all stops to make the event a memorable & gala occasion for the politician-actress couple.
Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi and Bhagwant Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab are set to attend the festivities and bless the couple for prosperous future.
The wedding will be attended by many high-profile guests from the movie industry also including Parineeti’s sister & desi girl Priyanka Chopra & her husband Nick Jonas.
