Jacqueline Fernandez’s lawyer responds to Nora’s defamation case, says ‘will protect my client’s dignity’
Nora has alleged that the Ram-Setu actress is envious of her swift rise to stardom and thus has named her in the extortion case.
New Delhi: Jacqueline Fernandez’s lawyer Prashant is all set to respond to Nora Fatehi’s defamation suit against the actress in the Sukesh Chandrasekhar extortion racket saga.
On December 12, Nora alleged that Sri Lankan-born actress was attempting to damage her reputation in the showbiz business and had caused several hindrances in her career.
On the other side, Jacqueline’s lawyer Prashant has made it a point to ‘defend his client’s dignity.’ According to him, Jacqueline Fernandez has never tried to taint Nora’s image nor has she ever slandered Fatehi in any media statement.
He went further claiming that while Fernandez has always respected Nora as a fellow artist and she has been dragged into this case leaving her with no other option than to respond legally.

Enforcement Directorate has earlier questioned Jacqueline Fernandez, linking a total of Rs. 7.72 crores of asset-based wealth to the actress. The actress reportedly dated the con man, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, before he went to jail in 2017.
Jacqueline’s lawyer has said that once his client receives the official copy of the defamation suit notice, she will respond legally.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar duped several big biz names and has dated many actresses from the industry. According to the reports, Jacqueline Fernandez confessed to receiving luxury bags, jewelry, and a Mini Cooper from the con man. Nora Fatehi has also admitted to accepting opulent presents from Sukesh.
