Jawan 2: Atlee reveals his plans for Shah Rukh’s actioner’s sequel, says ‘Will make a part two’

The 5-time blockbuster filmmaker also claimed to be a huge SRK fan since his childhood and said that he has watched almost all of his movies

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s latest Blockbuster Jawan is making all the right noises at the Box office. In just ten days of its theatrical run, the Atlee Kumar directorial has already shattered numerous records and amassed a colossal sum of ₹ 735.85 crore at the BO.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s fans are keeping their hope high for a sequel to the movie, that too with a spin-off of Vikram Rathore who has won millions of hearts with his unmatched charisma and personality as senior Rathore.

Atlee eyes on Vikram Rathore’s Spin-off

Speaking about the possibilities of Jawan 2, Director Atlee Kumar, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, revealed that just like the fans, he is also thinking about a spin-off of Vikram Rathore and if an idea about the same comes to his mind, he won’t hesitate in making Jawan’s sequel.

Speaking about creating a spin-off on Vikram Rathore, Atlee told Pinkvilla that Vikram is his ‘hero’ and he will be more than happy to come with a spin-off on him. He said, ” I am a daddy’s boy and I love to write strong father characters. You can see it in all my movies.”

‘Will come with Jawan’s sequel,” says Atlee

Calling Jawan a love letter for the megastar, Atlee assured the fans that although most of his movies have a decisive open-ended climax, he has never thought about coming up with sequels. However, he is ready to make an exception for Jawan as he thinks that the movie has a lot of scope for the same. “I have kept an open end and I can bring a sequel Soon or later. But definitely will come with Jawan’s sequel one day”, he added.

The 5-time blockbuster filmmaker also claimed to be a huge SRK fan since his childhood and said that he has watched almost all of his movies. Atlee even went on to say that he was so influenced by the personalities of  Shah Rukh Khan’s characters that he wanted to copy the superstar’s hairdo as a teenager.

In the Same interview, the filmmaker also spoke about his plans for casting Thalapathy Vijay and Shah Rukh in the same movie and also revealed that he has great characters for both of the Superstars. For the unversed, Thalapy was the first person who backed Atlee in his decision to do a film with Shah Rukh Khan.
