New Delhi: After putting the struggling Bollywood industry back to life with his all-time blockbuster Pathan, Mega Star Shah Rukh Khan has once again shown the wrath of his stardom with his recently released actioner Jawan.
In just eight days of its theatrical run, the movie has not only asserted its dominance at the box office but also created history by shattering numerous records to become the third highest-grossing Bollywood movie (India) of the year.
Jawan’s Tsunami
So far, the Atlee Kumar Directorial has had a remarkable run at the BO and minted ₹ 388.85 crore (net) from the domestic market alone. Speaking of its overseas collection, Jawan has stormed the international BO as well by amassing over ₹300 crores from the overseas markets in its eight-day-long theatrical run. With that, the movie’s grand total for eight days now stands at a whopping sum of ₹ 688.85 crores (worldwide) which makes it the 9th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time.
Jawan: SRK’s first Pan Indian Blockbuster
The Language-wise breakdown of Shah Rukh Khan’s actioner’s BO collection shows that Jawan is undoubtedly Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest pan-Indian release that has given the megastar a brand new fan base from the Southern states of the Country. From its Hindi shows, the Magnum Opus has minted ₹ 347 crore while its Tamil and Telugu shows have brought ₹ 23 crore and 18.85 crore respectively.
Jawan Day 9 Collection Prediction
Despite seeing a minor dip in its collection on the 8th day, Shah Rukh’s Actoiner still managed to clock an impressive amount of ₹21.6 crore at the BO. Now, with the weekend just around the corner, Jawan’s declining collection is all set to soar up high and take the movie past ₹ 800 crore by the end of its second weekend.
As per the early estimates, the movie is likely to rake in anything between ₹ 20- 22 crore (Net India) on its 9th day ( second Friday) which will take its domestic box office collection all the way up to ₹ 410 crore. Additionally, the approaching weekend is also expected to help Jawan regain its much-needed momentum which will be reflected in its rising second weekend’s BO collection.
