Jawan Trailer: Has SRK indirectly warned Sameer Wankhede with his ‘Baap se baat kar’ dialogue? Here’s what netizens think

Dropping the much-anticipated trailer just a week ahead of the movie’s release, the veteran actor wrote, “Of Justice & A Jawan. Of Women & their Vengeance. Of a Mother & A Son. And of course, a lot of Fun!!! Ready Ahhh!!!”

New Delhi: After making his fans wait for a long time, Shah Rukh Khan finally released the eagerly awaited trailer of his upcoming movie Jawan on Thursday.

Other than delighting the masses with astonishing visuals and an intriguing storyline, it was the electrifying dialogues from the trailer that gave goosebumps to the fans. However, out of all the iconic dialogues, one that caught the public’s attention the most and stood out from the rest was SRK’s “Bete ko hath lagane se pehle, baap se bat kar. “

Mouthed by Shah Rukh in his Husky menacing voice, the dialogue instantly made the netizens go gaga and went viral all over social media.

While some were impressed with SRK’s unmatchable energy while delivering the viral dialogue, others took a step further and started claiming that the viral dialogue is nothing but a dig at the zonal director of NCB Sameer Wankhede who took Shah Rukh’s eldest son Aryan Khan into custody during Jawan’s shoot.

Internet reacts

Linking the dialogue to Shah Rukh’s beef with Sameer, one netizen wrote, “Warning to my Son Sameer Wankhede: “Bete ko hath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar”

Another said, “We all know who this is aimed at.”

Sameer Wankhede was talking about this threat I think. don’t ever dare to mess with Shah Rukh Khan” wrote a third user.

SRK and Sameer’s legal tussle

For the uninformed, Sameer took Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan into custody in October 2021 for his alleged connection to a drug case. While Aryan got released after receiving a clean chit from NCB’s special inquiry team in May 2022, Sameer is still facing corruption charges for allegedly demanding ₹25 crore as a bribe from Shah Rukh for not entrapping his son in a false case.
