New Delhi: Actress Juhi Chawla and Superstar Shah Rukh Khan share one of the strongest bonds of friendship in the history of Bollywood. Recently, in an event, Juhi recalled King Khan’s struggles and stated that at one point in his life, the only car he owned was taken away from him as he was unable to pay the vehicle’s installment.
In a recent GCCI event in Gujrat, the actress was seen remembering her initial days in the film industry with Shah Rukh. Juhi compared SRK’s recent lifestyle with his early days and revealed that Om Shanti Om’s fame was not owning a shelter to stay in when he was shooting for his movies Raju Ban Gaya and Dil Aashna Hai Gentleman. She also said that nobody used to cook for the Pathaan actor and he used to eat from the unit’s plate.
Following this, the Gulaab Gang fame shared how Shah Rukh Khan’s only car was taken away by the bank for unpaid EMIs. “Shah Rukh Khan had one gypsy, he used to do 2-3 shifts. But unable to pay EMI, they took it away. Now look at him,” said the 56-year-old diva.
Later the Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak actress talked about how she boosted the actor’s spirit after the bank took away his Gypsy. “You’ll have many more cars one day,” Juhi had said to her friend then.”

While talking about his current lifestyle, Chawla said, “he still remembers that. Because it’s true. Look at him today.”
The well-known Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan, who was once struggling for a roof and sacrificed his only cars due to unpaid installments, now owns a sea-facing bungalow named ‘Mannat’ along with a series of cars in Bandra, Mumbai.
