Jury rules Tory Lanez guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion said that Tory shot at her and shouted ‘Dance b*tch’. He later apologized and tried to offer Megan money to keep quiet about the incident.

New Delhi: Canadian Rapper Tory Lanez was ruled guilty of shooting American rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The 30-year-old 5’2 rapper was also found guilty of two other charges including carrying an unregistered weapon in the car and discharging a gun with gross negligence.

Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer expressed his approval of the verdict by saying he is thankful that Justice prevailed for Megan.

After the trial that took place in Los Angeles, Jury awarded Tory Lanez 20 years in prison.

Back in 2020 in July, Megan went live on Instagram to say that Tory Lanez shot her in the legs after a pool party in the Hollywood hills. The party was hosted by Kylie Jenner. The trio appeared together in an Instagram live enjoying the party before the situation transpired into a crime scene.

On July 12, at 4:30 AM LA police department arrested Tory Lanez for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle after reports of gunfire at Hollywood Hills came to their knowledge.

Three days later, Megan confirmed in now a deleted Instagram post that she was shot by Tory. Following this TMZ released a video that shows Megan limping from a vehicle with blood across her body.

Megan later released the pictures of her injuries. She addressed the issue that she initially told police it was wounded from stepping on a glass because she thought they wouldn’t believe her. This was during the peak of the black lives matter moment.
