New Delhi: Bollywood actress Disha Patani is busy finishing the shoot of the most anticipated film of the year Kalki 2898 AD. The actress dropped a few candid pictures from the shoot in Italy where she can be seen with South Star Prabhas all wrapped up in a Jacket. It looks like the weather is too cold as the actress is seen wrapped in a blanket to protect herself from the freezing wind. The crew of the film is there to finish shooting for a song. Disha has also posted pictures of the sun, mountains and her own selfies.

Director Nag Aswin opened up about the upcoming film during an event and said “The film starts with Mahabharat and ends in 2898 AD. It spans 6000 years in time. We tried to create worlds, imagining what they would be like while still keeping it Indian, and not make it look like Blade Runner. The film begins 6000 years behind 2898 AD is 3102 BC, which is when the last avatar of Krishna is believed to have passed.”

The film stars many big actors from Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Disha Patani and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. Actor Prabhas fans have been desperately waiting for the release of the film. Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most high budget films of 2024. The makers of the film also shared that the film begins during the period of Mahabharta. Nag Ashwin also spoke about why he chose this as the title of the film, he said..”We are trying to create the worlds that are there, imagining what it could be like. We will still keep it Indian and our challenge is not to make it look like ‘Blade Runner’.”
