Kalki 2898 AD makers drops new poster, Reveals Disha Patani’s character ‘Roxie’ on her birthday

New Delhi: On Disha Patani’s special day, Kalki 2898 AD makers shared a new poster revealing her character in the movie. The actress will be playing the role of ‘ROXIE’.

The Bollywood actress is celebrating her 32nd birthday today. The social media is flooded with warm wishes on Disha’s special day. The ‘Baaghi 2’ fame has always been in the headlines for her movies, bold fashion style and stunning personality. On her birthday, Kalki 2898 AD makers unveiled the first poster of her character ‘Roxie’.

The star shared the poster on her Insta Handle. We could see her in a fresh look, wearing black color pants with a crop top and jacket. The fitness diva looks stunning.

The highly anticipated movie is going to be released on 27th June 2024. Disha Patani will be playing the love interest of Bhairava (played by Prabhas) in the film alongside Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from them, Kamal Haasan and Rajendra Prasad will play important roles.

Nag Ashwin is directing this mega-budget project and it is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. This big-budget film will be released in multiple languages globally.

Kalki 2898 AD trailer and plot

The makers dropped the trailer on 10th June 2024. The trailer enchanted the audience with its stunning CGI, strong background music, and futuristic reimagination of Mahabharata with a dystopian twist to the story. The trailer starts with the depiction of Kashi, a city, situated on the top of a mountain. The city has all the essential resources such as food water and shelter. People from all the corners are struggling to reach there in order to get help from the ruler of that city played by Saswata Chatterjee.

As the story progresses, people get to know about the prophecy of a child who is yet to be born. Deepika Padukone’s Character is carrying the prophecy which needs to be protected. As a child the is destined to overthrow the king and mark the beginning of a new Yug. In order to create intensity and depth to the situation, Bhairava (Prabhas) is introduced as the most successful hunter who has been assigned the bounty of the unborn child.
