Kangana’s Dhaakad is disaster, Kiara’s film a blockbuster; Payal pokes fun at former

Reports suggest that some cinema hall owners also removed the screening of Dhaakad and removed it with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad released in theatres on May 20 but it has turned out be a dud at the Box Office (BO). Despite having a good star cast, the movie has failed to impress the audience, rather has just wilted.

The movie showcasing Kangana in many avatars was made at a huge budget of Rs 100 crore but it saw a very poor opening. According to reports, the movie grossed just Rs 50 lakh on day of its release.

However, Kartik & Kiara starrer Bhool Bhualaiyaa 2 is turning out to be a blockbuster within days of its release. On its opening day, the movie garnered Rs 14.11 crore and was recorded as Kartik’s first movie with biggest opener. Over the weekend, the movie consolidated its earnings with 18 & 22 crore respectively while Kangana’s Dhakaad only fizzled out.

Reports suggest that some cinema hall owners also removed the screening of Dhaakad and removed it with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Reason behind was poor turnout of audience in theatres.

Payal Rohatgi mocks at Kangana

Fellow actress Payal Rohatgi poked fun at the actress and her Lock Upp show contestant Munawar Faruqui over film’s dismal show. She commented that neither the Lock Upp winner nor his supporters promoted the movie.
