New Delhi: Bollywood’s most loved couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary today. The couple came close during the shoot of the film ‘Shershaah’ where Sidharth played the role of Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara played his girl friend Dimple. Audience loved their performance and the film was a success at the box office. The couple got married in Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh hotel last year.

Bollywood actor and Kiara Advani’s husband Sidharth Malhotra admitted in Koffee with Karan said that “Both of us have that upbringing. Even though she grew up in Mumbai, she is very disconnected. She is not so skewed by whatever is happening in the industry or behind the camera, I like that. I find that very refreshing. She could be in any profession… She handles her stardom in a way, possibly in a similar way that I like it. Even today, we like spending time together and meeting families. I never had a family in Bombay, but now I do thanks to her.”

Kiara on how Sidharth proposed her
Kiara Advani also shared in Koffee with Karan about how Sidharth proposed her, she said she was taking a walk with him during a family holiday when suddenly some violinist comes out and his nephew was making a video from behind. He then went down to his knees and proposed me. She said that was the most unexpected moment, and she didn’t say anything.
