New Delhi: It’s not a rare thing for ace Bollywood director Karan Johar to tease his guests with blunt questions and absurd remarks in his controversial yet popular chat Show Koffee with Karan
Recently, ahead of Deepika and Ranveer’s first joint appearance in the eighth season of his chat show, a video of Karan testing the actress’ patience is making rounds on Social Media.
In the video, the director is seen taking digs at the actress over her neck tattoo “RK” which she made for her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor during the days of their relationship.
Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is also alongside Deepika in the video as she chats with Karan and tells him about a tattoo on her hand saying “Daddy’s little girl”. She later reveals that the tattoo is in her dad’s own handwriting.

As the video begins, curious Karan is seen inquiring Priyanka about her tattoo that says ” Daddy’s little girl. After getting an answer from Priyanka about the same, he turns his attention towards Deepika and asks her, “What happened to your tattoo?” (Deepika’s tattoo saying RK) Karan’s question irks the Padmavat actress a little as she replies, “It’s (Tatoo) still there Karan.”
However, Karan doesn’t stop here and proceeds to take a very personal dig at the actress by making fun of her saying, “Now You can only Date Rajeev Khandelwal from the industry.” Hearing this, Deepika laughs and says “Can I Slap you, Karan?” Priyanka too responds to her and says “Yes someone must slap him. ”
Later, the video ends with Karan telling Deepika to somehow change her Tatoo’s ‘K’ initial to ‘S’ as during that time, her dating rumors with actor Ranveer Singh were the talk of the town.
Angry netizens slam Karan
Although both the actresses took Karan’s mean question in a funny manner, they didn’t go well with Deepika’s fans who blasted the actor for the same.
One Instagram user wrote'” Yes you should slap him.” Another said, “Why does no one ask about his sexuality or sex life and see how he reacts.” A third user added, “He9Karan) is that stupid aunty type.”
What’s next for Deepika Padukone?
On her Professional front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Prabhas’ upcoming Magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD which is scheduled for its release on January 12th, 2024.
Following that, she will feature in Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming aerial actioner Fighter alongside Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover. The film will hit the big screens next year on 25th January.
