Kriti Sanon turns a surrogate mother in Mimi, with whimsical Pankaj Tripathy at her side, TRAILER Out

New Delhi: Mimi trailer is trending on social media for its witty display of a story that seems amusing. The trailer for Mimi was released on Tuesday.

The trailer shows the character of Kriti Sanon, a young girl from a small town who wants to be a dancer, who agrees to be a surrogate mother for an American Couple who offer a handsome amount of money to her to do the job.

Kriti took to Twitter to share the trailer with a note “#Mimi expected everything, except for this unexpected journey! Watch the glimpse of her unexpected story with your family. #MimiTrailer out now.”

Pankaj Tripathi can be seen in the trailer along with Sanon, who persuades her for surrogacy. His chucklesome comic timing and funny one-liners go inseparable with the trailer.

Sai Tamhankar can also be seen in the trailer who let Kriti’s character stay with her during her pregnancy period.

Mimi is a remake of the National Award-winning Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy!

The trailer seems to be a roller coaster ride of unexpected events that follow for the next 9 months of Mimi being a surrogate mother.

The film is directed by Luka Chuppi director Laxman Utekar and is will be released on 30^th July on Netflix and Jio Cinema.
