Laal Singh Chaddha locks OTT premiere 8 weeks after theatrical release, check platform and date here

LSC is the Hindi remake of award winning Hollywood war drama ‘Forrest Gump’ (1994)  featuring Tom Hanks in the lead

New Delhi: Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ created much hype and grabbed top headlines before its release on the big screen, however, post its theatrical debut on August 11 alongside Raksha Bandhan, it could do no wonders at the BO. Aamir aka Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, who returned to the screens after four years of a long gap with the war drama had high expectations from this film, though LSC neither received any special response from the audience, nor it managed to make earn any profits.

While Aamir was certain about releasing the film six months after its theatrical release even after being proved to be a flop at the box office, now the film has locked its OTT premiere within 8 weeks of its initial rollout.

Netflix has bought the digital rights of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ and is set to release the film on its platform. The OTT giant provided with information to the viewers through its social media handles.

While sharing the news on Twitter, Netflix wrote, “Keep your popcorn and golgappas ready because Laal Singh Chaddha is NOW STREAMING!”.
