Legal action initiated against Uorfi Javed for wearing ‘sexually explicit’ dress in ‘Haye Haye Yeh Majboori’ song

Uorfi Javed, who usually creates controversy with her outfit in videos on Instagram, has landed into legal trouble this time for a music video.

New Delhi: Uorfi Javed, who usually creates controversy with her outfit in videos on Instagram, has landed into legal trouble this time for a music video. Recently, Javed was seen in the video song ‘Haye Haye Yeh Majboori’. It is a remake of the popular Zeenat Aman song released on Saregama Music.

Soon after its release, the video has garnered over 8 million views on YouTube. Since its release on October 11, it has so far received over 1.30 lakh likes.

Anonymous person files complaint in Delhi

In the video, Uorfi can be seen wearing an orange saree. Seeing the video an anonymous person in Delhi filed a complaint with the Delhi police for allegedly publishing ‘sexually explicit’ material, according to media reports.

More information about the complaint is yet not available. On the other hand, Uorfi has also not reacted to the complaint and reports.

The latest version of the song was sung by Shruti Rane. Gourov Dasgupta gave the music. However, the credit for the original song goes to Lata Mangeshkar which was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.

The song featured actress Zeenat Aman. It was created for the 1974 movie ‘Roti Kapada and Makaan’.
